PAN AFRICAN ACTIVISTS GATHERING: Reconnect and Recommit
Afrikki, a network of activists from Africa and diaspora, hosted the “Pan African Activists Gathering: Reconnect & Recommit” event in Nairobi-Kenya. This pivotal gathering aimed to address the challenges facing the pan-African movement, reignite activists’ passion, and enhance collaboration among grassroots movements. The event brought together 100 activists, journalists, artists, and intellectuals to foster a renewed commitment to Pan-Africanism.

Through a series of conferences, workshops, and cultural activities, the gathering seeks to analyze current political, economic, and social landscapes, and develop collective strategies to advance the pan-African agenda.The event serves as a follow-up to Afrikki’s inaugural major event, UPEC in 2018, and seeks to renew commitment and passion among activists while addressing setbacks and fostering collaboration.
